As the name would suggest this place is very cool and chic. The staff are very welcoming as is the atmosphere, and the clientele are always decent too. With its extensive cocktail list its no wonder this place is a regular for cocktail lovers like me. read more >>
Maybe I arrived on a bad day but the reception staff were not friendly at all, in fact rather blunt and slow about checking me in. The hotel itself is in a great location and very central to every thing you need. The rooms are perfect and always clean..but the staff just really let it down. I would rather stay somewhere that I feel my business is welcome in. I have to say that the bedrooms were incredibly comfortable and tastefully decorated though. read more >>
Downstairs in the Westin lies the mint bar - a nicely decorated venue with above average price pints. I have been here on 2 occasions for cuban/salsa themed nights. Great fun and a brilliant mix of people. For something other than your standard night on the tiles. read more >>
I have been to two christmas parties in the Westin. We hired out the ballroom which is gorgeous. The food was served very fast and they left enough time between courses so we weren't really stuffed. They also put out a dance floor which is a really big size but they left most of the tables there too which was good as nobody had to stand. Would definitely recommend this place for a function as we had a great time and the service was excellent ! read more >>
This place is very swanky. Not if you have the money and you want to spash out then head here. I havent stayed in this hotel but the bar is well worth a visit.
I booked a friend into The Westin last week for a treat as it was her birthday, I mentioned this to the staff when I made the booking and when she arrived to her room they had made her a cake!! She was delighted!! A really personal touch I thought!
The Westin also has a great cocktail bar - I would say that they are among the best in Dublin. On Fridays they pull a big crowd for Salsa and S American dancing. read more >>
Stayed here for a couple of nights about two years ago and as you can imagine, didnt want to leave, this is what a hotel should be...close to everything in the centre of town, luxurious, immaculate rooms, with everything you could possible want for and helpful, courtious staff to boot. If money isnt an option and you are looking for probably the best hotel in dublin then the westin would be my recommendation, there is also a funky basement bar, think it is called the atrium, which is great for pre-evening drinks and late night residence drinks alike. read more >>

The rooms were smaller than expected and the service really disappointing.

Good hotel full stop. And perfect location.
Not the cheapest of options though.
No2 place after the unbeatable Dylan hotel.
