Fantastic hair salon, very trendy and fashionable. The only thing to be aware of is that there are different levels of stylists and hence different prices. For example a junior stylist is cheaper than a senior stylist. The prices at Toni & Guy are a bit high compared to other salons but they are really good at what they do. The haircuts are always done exactly how you ask, even if you don't know what you want to do with your hair but fancy a change - the stylists always have an idea of what will suit your face shape! read more >>
I now go to Toni and Guy in Malahide run by a girl called Anna. I find the service great and actually look forward to getting my hair done as you are offered tea/coffee etc, a range of mags and the music isn't pumping either, you can sit back and relax. Rushed in and out like a conveyor belt. Very little time given to consultation. Poor skills in my opinion, "one cuts fits all" motto! Have gone back a few times but have failed to be impressed. Very expensive also. Wouldn't recommend. read more >>

You don't ask for a cut and blow dry here, you get your hair sculpted or styled by an artist, they are not merely hairdressers and you pay according to how much of an artist your artist is. I assume the Rembrant will be the more expensive "Top Stylist". The hair dyes are "couture lights". It's all about making you think that you are entering the most fashionable and creative salon in the city but it's actually quite an annoying place and such a rip off. read more >>
