Was looking for a bike on the cycle to work scheme. Found the staff to be really friendly and had an excellent range of bikes. low prices compared to other shops.

Can never get through to this number. They could be a bit more customer friendly in shop also. But a good local service to have

I have previously found this shop to be good however last year my German housemate rented a bike from them for 300 euro. She was told that she would get 150 euro back when she returned the bike provided it was in good conditi
on. When she went to return it the owner offered her 60 euro for it say that it was rusted. I checked this with another bike shop and they said that the rust should not cause such a deterioration in price. He also said that he would only pay her by cheque. She couldn't take a cheque as she was returning to Germany the following week. She insisted on cash and the man told her to come back after 6pm. She returned at a quarter to 6 to find the other attendant closing up, this attendant had no money to give her and said that the man who was supposed to be there to pay her had left at 2pm. Following this experience I would sincerely recommend foreign students not to rent bikes from here. read more >>

Friendly, easy going service, no problem with prices and didn't charge for a couple of after thought add ons.
