In responce to the above i feel it is only fair to give me opinion of this so called "Hammer & Chisel" shop. I have been a customer of Panda Tool Hire for nearly four years now and not once have I had any problem with the service or hire that I have done with them. Any services that I have had on Strimmers or lawnmowers have been of a high standard and the machine has been spotless when I got it back (I didnt clean it before it went in). I was given a hand taking the lawnmower out of the car and also putting it back in. The price I paid was better I expected and I will continue to deal with this hire shop. Very disappointing all round.
This place is a typical "Hammer & Chisel" outfit. We (my company) left in some machinery to be serviced. Simple job, but you would not believe the way it was returned to us. They sheared some bolts in the engine. Cut the plastic/nylon blower housing to avoid removing two screws.
The machines were left out in the open in the back yard (they have no garage space) which has no roof. Our machines were returned with water in the petrol tanks and with damp ignition units.
We complained but received NO satisfaction.
It also transpired that the owner has a different pricing system, one for his pals and cronies and another for other customers.
We will NEVER again bring any machinery to Panda Tool Hire. They are really at the bottom of the Hire and Machinery business. read more >>
