Went there thinking I booked a student, I obviously hadn't been clear enough and got a senior hairdresser guy, lovely chap...and had to pay 80€ which is a ridiculous money for me, considering how unadventurous or technical the cut was.
The pleasant chat and rapport I had with the hairdresser almost made up for the attitude of the receptionist (clearly making me feel like I don't deserve her attention and even asked me to pay while I was getting my hair blow-dried, with my fringe on my hair and all having to key in my pin...never seen that in my life!) but there was no particular creative input into the design of the cut, it was plainly as I asked and didn't have the wow factor that I certainly got when paying the bill ! read more >>
Handy if you need to save or simply don't have the money to fork out for a more fancy hairdressers salon. It will of course be student hairdressers doing your hair (that's what keeps the price down) but they've usually been through months of training before they're at your hair, and they're supervised throughout. Very good service, excellent consultation and cut. Hairdresser really knew hair and was very professional. Will definitely go back but may have to save first, prices are a little expensive. Still, maybe worth it due to getting a hairdresser who actually listens to exactly what you want. Would definitely recommend. read more >>

I went to Athos and Dermot, realy good at cut and colour, and very stylish place, really felt looked after! Haircut has lasted ages!

Great if you want cheap cut and colour, really well supervised. i used to go when i wsa a student, they had even cheaper prices for that, not bad at all for a school.

i have been going to Lunatic Fringe for years now, and have always been happy, i always get something different done. great if you want something different and fashionable
A great place to go when your a student as mentioned. They allow their own hairdressing students to do your hair. It sounds scary but they are supervised by a stylist all the time and I was very pleased with the result. So give it a go if you on a tight budget read more >>
When i was a student, I would go to the Robert Chambers school to get my hair done. Although it is a student doing your hair, dont be worried as the teacher is looking over them all the time and fix anything that needs fixing. just be prepared that you will be there for quite a while. but the price is worth the wait. read more >>

Awful service. Would never ever recommend. Bought a voucher and got terrible service over the phone and had incredible hassle getting refunded. Still haven't received full refund. Have never been treated worse by a salon. read more >>
