Located just opposite the Lough in Cork, this family run butchers stocks a great range of quality meat. I used to get my chicken breasts and other meat in Tesco at Wilton but the last few times I got it I wasn't very impressed and the chicken was very tough, so decided to look elsewhere. This butcher was a welcome surprise and is actually better value than Tesco as you can get 4 chicken breasts for €5. I also got some steak burgers here which were lovely too. There is lots of choice if you would like to get some meat already flavoured with tex-mex, garlic and herb etc, so you could have dinner ready in no time read more >>
