While in this shop attempting to purchase a pair of shoes the manager came up behind me and started shouting abuse and insinuating I was from West Cork. Seemingly she had had a bad experience from a West Cork native. When I demanded to know what exactly her problem was she started (she eventually worked out from my accent that I wasn’t from West Cork) stuttering that she had mixed me up with someone else. I proceeded to tell this moron what I thought of her mental facilities and she then proceeded to stick her tongue out and pull faces at me, leaving any spectators in no doubt as to her lunacy. I wrote to the owners of Molloy’s footwear outlining the demented conduct of their, North Main St manager, and suggesting that the CCTV would show, quite clearly, what she is capable of. Always bargain bins outside this place with dodgy suede sandals for €10. Shoes are reasonably priced though and shop is pretty easy to navigate. Good for cheap runners and cheap school shoes. Also those white nurses shoes with the air holes! read more >>
