Went to the Cork branch for lunch recently after being there on several occasions before, quality of food and portions seems to have dropped significantly but still above many places in Cork.

Lovely restaurant. Have been to both the Dublin and also the Limetick Luigis and neither disappoint. Great menu and I would highly reccomment their fillet steak and an after eight cocktail for after a meal. Prices are good and they have a good early bird and also id you go there often it would be a good idea to get a loyalty card. read more >>

With luigi's there's one thing certain- plenty of choice on the menu. This is great when have a few different tastes they do lovely pasta dishes here and great steaks. Great selection of white and red wines to order from. Love the layout of the place and its certainly a great place if your going out with large number of people firstly for the choice and secondly no problem with space although booking a table would be advised. read more >>

Ate a meal here before and I was very happy with the service. The menu was extensive and everything looked nice. The only downfall is because its a very large roofed restaurant, if there is a crowd anywhere the noise travels and there's a lot of chatter going on. The food was delicious and the service was very quick. read more >>

Great Italian place to eat in here. They do a great lunch in here and it's very generous in the portions that you get. It does have some mexican dishes on over but it is mainly italian style cuisine inside here. The place has a great atmosphere and the staff are very nice. I would really recommend visiting Luigi Malones for a bite to eat at any time of the day read more >>

Luigi's is a fantastic spot close to everything in the city centre and right opposite the Opera House. It does a great value lunch menu. Staff are really friendly and incidentally, most of them are good looking in a swarthy way. It's extremely child friendly, bright, spacious and always buzzing. They do a loyalty card too that's well worth signing up to. read more >>

To be honest i really dislike this place, its completely over-rated. The food is only so-so and the prices are extremely expensive considering the food you get! The decor is nice inside and its great for large groups , but this still doesnt save the place. read more >>

This restaurant is brilliantly located and has a really modern decor. They offer a 4 course meal for 30 euro, but if you share starters as we did, two between four, you can choose from the full menu for practically the same price. I thought the food was nice but maybe not worth the price. The nachos we had for starters were yummy and definately you get enough to share. The pasta dish I ordered was a bit bland and I wouldn't get very excited about it but the toblerone cheesecake was worth going there for alone!! I think it might be slightly over rated as a restaurant and they should definately consider lowering their prices to match other restaurants in the area. read more >>

Used to love this place when it first opened and have been there a number of time in the past. I have noticed that over the last 2-3 years the quality of the food and the choice on the menu has gotten worse and worse. Its a great location and inside the restaurant is lovely IF it is not too full, on a busy night you can hardly move in there and they really tend to rush you out. Their cocktails whilst expensive are totally worth it and almost make up for the bad service and disappointing meal. read more >>

Luigi's is perfectly located in the City Centre on O' Connell St. Large restaurant perfect for large parties. However i find that there is very little privacy here as the tables are all squashed in together. I went with my partner for dinner there recently and we were close to the couples table next to us that we were nearly brushing off eachother. This would put me off eating there again as you have no privacy having a conversation with the person you are dining with. On a positive note the menu offers plenty of choice from pasta to steak and salads. There is something for everyone. Also the strawberyy Dacquiri's are delicious read more >>

This is a popular restaurant in Cork. It's not the cheapest but not crazy prices either. The fajitas here are pretty nice and the nachos starter is absolutely huge.
Really big restaurant aswell so no problem for big groups - i'd definitely book ahead as well - no harm! read more >>

My girlfriend suggested this place one evening. It mainly Italian but there are some Mexican dishes for those who like it hot. The service was brilliant from the moment we walked in so first impressions were all good and I remember the smell of food & spice was really inviting. I was pretty hungry so I went straight for the fillet steak. Lou had the prawns. To say I immediately fell in love with the food and the restaurant was an understatement....I'd never tasted anything like it, cooked to medium-rare perfection!! It came with a potato gratin which could have been a meal all on its own, the onions & mushrooms along with peppercorn sauce added to what was already an amazing meal. They also had some ice cold traditional Italian beers which were a nice touch. My girlfriend tells me the prawns are to die for but I'm afraid of fish so I will take her word for it.
We've gone back for lunch and dinner quite allot since then. I recommend this place to everyone, couples, family's big & small its a slice of Italian in the Heart of Limerick. 10/10 read more >>
