Stayed at Lough Rynn Recently - found the listing here on the Golden Pages - a definate must for all, couldnt find fault, attended a wedding on the saturday - what an amazing display of service and attention. The room was magnificient, i actually wanted to get married again after experiencing the food, service and hotel.
The bedroom was spacious, opening onto an internal courtyard, very private and secluded, beautifully designed and finished. A full buffet breakfast greeted us the following morning with an extensive hot menu available. and afterwards on sunday evening we sat in the hall having afternoon tea listening to the resident pianist - it was a fairy tale.
The grounds are fantastic - ideal for wedding shots or for just walking and relaxing.
We are going back again later in August - a definate recommendation for 5 stars - well done !! read more >>
We ate at Lough Rynn castle the other day. We did the bar food menu. It was 14-15 euro each. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Well worth the extra 3 or 4 euro compared to a carvery. I highly recommend the haddock, and the pan fried cod was lovely. Beed could have been a bit more tender. The castle itself is small but very nice. The restaurant looks beautiful, and the decor was suitable and lovely. From what I saw of the grounds I was impressed. Will be back! read more >>
