didnt stay here but dont think i would . Service at the bar is unbelievably bad ; there were three people behind the bar and four customers and still it took forever to get an order, then, when finally got served I had to que
ue again at a carvery just to get a coffee as they cant do that from the bar . Food was mediocre . The one fantastic thing about this place though is the riverside terrace , really lovely on a sunny day with a view of Kilkenny Castle directly across the river (The compliment is not returned however when u go to the other side of the river - the hotel is a rather ugly building considering its location opposite the castle which is a beautiful structure read more >>
