Hotel Isaacs is all about location, its a short and easy stroll from O Connoll Street. The rooms are average, they're cosy and the bed is comfortable so you can get a decent nights sleep. Its not luxurious but you can39;t expect that for the great rates they offer on the rooms. The breakfast was good and our stay was great value. read more >>

Il Vignardo offer Nice italian food, but small portions though, and the staff can be a bit slow and careless often received my pasta as a pizza in error! The food is always fresh and of good quality and they do lunch specials from 9.99, I will be going back! read more >>

Very unsatisfied with my stay here! For the whole stay the place was far too hot. There was no air conditioning, and the fan which had been provided in our room didn't work. There was also no hot water, which meant only cold showers were available. When it rained during our stay, our room sprung a leek from the ceiling. Definitely not worth the money considering other options available for the same price. I'll not be staying here again. read more >>

Very thin walls. Better pray your neighbors are quiet. You can hear everyone going up and down the stairs. There was a group of teens staying at the hotel the same time we were and it was not a very pleasant experience. Noise all night. Location is great though. read more >>

Only the freshest ingredients make it into the kitchen, and everything is cooked exactly
to your order. You get your pick of heavy, aged beef, with the staff
bringing an array of available cuts to your table for your personal
selection. The chef can even cut oversized steaks on request.
And they double check for doneness. If it isn't exactly what
you asked for, they take it back and try again, no questions asked.
Not in the mood for rib eye? Try the lobster, yellow
fin tuna or rack of lamb. Every meal is served with family-style
sides and a loaf of sourdough bread. read more >>

My wife and I ate here once when visiting Cork. The food is lovely though on the pricy side but worth it and the service was very good. There was a lively atmosphere which added to the night. The waterfall is a lovely feature. read more >>

Greenes offers a fantastic location down a quiet side cobbled side street off MacCurtain Street. Outdoor seated area next to a waterfall. Great service, lovely food. Would recommend the vegetarian options even if your not. Bit pricier than other restaurants in Cork but the foods great and nice for a special occasion. Great Threatre and Dinner package too. read more >>

I went here once on the back of good reports. I have to say while not dissapointed i wasnt blown away either. Lovely water feature yes but i want a high quality reasonably priced meal. Too many restarunts get good reviews and up the prices or quash the meals . read more >>

Greenes is one of my favourite restaurants in Cork City. The setting is really beautiful. When you walk in off the street, through the stone archway and see the waterfall lit up. Inside is very nice too, modern and clean. The staff are great in there, very friendly and know what theyre talking about. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. The food is fantastic, definitely worth every penney. They also have separate gluten free and lactose intolerant menus, which is a really nice touch.
All in all Greenes is a lovely place for a special dinner occasion. Expect to pay around €50 pp for 3 courses without wine. read more >>

Not the style of restaurant that I like most but they had a complete course for €20. Their best deal is on pasta for €9.90, but it's not a very tasty pasta to be honest. Saw they had a wood oven and thought this be winner. To be honest the manager gave me a bad impression and I'd be wondering how well they treat their staff read more >>

I stayed here a couple of months ago and was pleasantly surprised, it cost 10euro for the night and the room was decent good and clean with good comfortable bedding. The doors are open 24hrs which is good for late night return. A good experience for my first Irish hostel. There was also free Orange juice and cereal in the morning but I did miss that by 15 minutes. Oh Its about 30 seconds walk from the Bus Station too which is handy. read more >>

I've eaten here quite a few times and it never disappoints. And as a vegetarian, thats saying something :) The water feature out the back is lovely and the food is good, all you need then is good company :)

I stayed in one of the apartments recently. They're pretty basic but if you're just looking for cheap accommodation in the city centre, I'd recommend Isaacs. Very reasonable rates.

This restaurant is fantastic. Great food, great service. It's a little pricey but well worth the extra few quid. I think they do a really good early bird too. There's a lovely water feature at the front that really adds to the ambiance. Try it! You won't be disappointed! read more >>

Friends of mine from Spain stayed here a few times, and its brilliant! Great location, close to the Luas and O'Connell Street - they came over for shopping and loved the central location and were amazed at how good value the hotel was. read more >>
