I absolutely love the rooftop smoking area and it's a great place to grab a few drinks but other than that it's usually packed to the extent it's a pain to get around and the drinks are EXTREMELY overpriced. Wouldn't recommend it. read more >>

Used to enjoy going to this place on a Thursday for the cheap drinks and music. Nowadays you couldn't drag me there. It's become waaaay too crowded on Thursdays and you can barely move around. Last time I went it took me ten minutes to get out to the smoking area which is an absolute joke. If you like metal music (which I do) it was a good place to be but now it's way too overcrowded and the people there are full of themselves. read more >>

Went here fairly late in my evening on Saturday night and so was more than ok with the rammed dance floor and couldn't tell how much they might have been charging for drinks or anything so I was obviously in a good mood already and the place didn't let me down pretty touristy and busy but people seemed up for a bit of fun which was good read more >>

I quite like Fitzsimons its full of tourists and peolpe out for a bit of fun. The bar in the smoking area is pretty coll- it just makes it feel like a place on holiday. They always put on events for things like Halowe'en and it's a good place to let your hair down and chill out. read more >>

Came here one night and didn't really enjoy it too much. It was average and nothing to write home about. The crowd seemed to be a lot of tourists but I guess you should expect that when drinking in Temple Bar. They had a good band playing at the bar (don't recall the name) which I enjoyed but otherwise it wasn't too exciting. The drinks seemed to be a bit more than other places. If you go upstairs theres a really big smoking area which is handy if you're a smoker! read more >>

Fitzsimons in Temple Bar is a great place to go for any occasion. I started my night there to watch a World Cup match on one of the largest plasma screens in Dublin. After a sporting event, you can keep your night going on any of the five amazing floors of the venue, or on the only open-air, heated, roof-top terrace. This is a good spot in temple bar. There are 3 floors and the smoking area is a cool place to hang out. There is a nightclub in the basement and this is alright too.

Went there last saturday and it was pretty great. The band that was playing was very good. The only thing i didn't like was the price of the pint, its a bit more expensive then another places.

I really liked of Fitzsimons when I arrived in Dublin but now I don't like because always I see the same people. This is a personal opinion. There has good bands and smoke area.

Overpriced drinks...I went there just a few times and there were nice bands playing at the front bar and a huge and nice smoking area upstairs, but that's all. I didn't like downstairs at all. I don't intend to go there again. read more >>

One of the most stereotypical Temple Bar nightspots. A favoured spot of hen nights and tourists, who don't know any better. One of the worst offenders in terms of over-priced booze. On the plus side it tends to be busy enough even on quiet week nights. Far far better options out there on other nights. read more >>

I think this pub is the best for the people like to dance a lot. A lot of beautiful guys, good music and drinks. The Fitzsimons is in the Templo Bar, everybody knows where this place.

Uow, nice plate to chat up gorgeous and striking girls. If you are feeling lonely and sad, call a friend and go to Fitzsimons. I am sure that you'll have some fun there. Really nice place. PS. The pint's price has a fair price. read more >>

Excellent place to drink all types of pints and chat up. You can listen to a good live music and have fun at the dance floor. Its a good big place to go!

The last time i went here was Paddys Day, One of the best days ever. 4 floors with a heated rooftop smoking area! Loads of room to ramble around. And great music and people.The when the pub is over the nightclub is downstairs which is excellent too. Not loads of kids a mature crowd. read more >>

Really good place to go after-work during the week. You can sit down, get some food and watch live music. It gets really crowded over the weekend or after-hours. However the place is giant and you can runaway from the crowd by staying in the upper floors read more >>

Fitzsimons is a late bar/club with 5 floors located in the heart of temple bar. I personally love going there during the summer, when the weathers actually nice, to sit on the smoking roof and have a few pints in the sun whilst still being able to watch all the matches. It's an alright spot at night, made better because it's free entry and opens late. Pints however go up to like €6.50 for a pint though which is steep, but then again it's Temple Bar! read more >>

Fitsimons is always a safe bet for a night out. On a Tuesday night there is a guy that plays a guitar and he is very good. The atmosphere is great during the week,. A t the weekends it gets really packed with tourists but it's always enjoyable even if the wait for a drink can be a bit long at times. In the summer there is a lovely rooftop smoking area thats great if you get a nice sunny day. Have also had food here on the second floor it's nice but not fantastic. The nightclub downstairs tends to get messy but is a good option after a few drinks read more >>

always a lively venue, smack in the middle of temple bar means a place full of hen and stag parties intermingled with 'locals'. Plenty of space, plenty of bars, nice smoking area. Downside is you're going to be paying tourist prices. read more >>

This is a great place if you are starting off with a little food before a night out. locations is excellent and they have a brilliant bear garden on the roof. Worth a look
