I really can't say enough good things about East Village. We were looking for somewhere to grab dinner in Douglas and saw their menu outside - we went for the three course €20 special and it was great. I had chicken wings to start, fillet steak for main and chocolate brownie sundae for dessert, and they were all excellent. Very reasonable prices anyway but the midweek special is exceptional value. read more >>

Dined in the East Village last Thursday evening. Had quesadillas and insane chicken wings plus copious amounts of good wine and pina coladas. Good menu reasonably priced. Great sizzling dishes. Excellent service.

Think of Chicken Wings and think of the East Village, best ones in Cork. Great promotions and really seem to know what their customers want, like cocktail promos at the weekend and meal deals during the week. Best bar in Douglas, it does get busy at the weekend, but a good mix of people and certainly saves a trip into the city for a night out. read more >>
Best BBQ chicken wings in Cork .. FACT! Great place for a night out, dinner and drinks. The restaurant is upstairs with its own bar and big screens, so whether youre going for a nice relaxing dinner or getting some grub before knocking back a few drinks, East Village is a great spot. The place can get very busy at the weekends with the crowd being a bit of a mixture of young and old alike, but its always good craic. read more >>
Great spot to go out in Douglas. The restaurant upstairs serves really good grub (same owners as SOHO in the city centre). The BBQ chicken wings are amazing! downstairs is lively most nights, especially at the weekends. Its like being in town, only closer to home if you live around Douglas. There are also some good bands that play there from time to time, Olly Murs, the guy off XFactor is gona be there soon ... SWOON! read more >>
Coupled with excellent service and nice surroundings I really love this restaurant and any of my colleagues who had the pleasure of working in Cork would tell you the same. We always made it our business to have a meal here (it was a must do when in Cork) Best chicken wings around and really good steak. Highly recommended on your visit there. read more >>
Two words....Spanish Fries! They are so good, as is all the food there. This place is a really good spot for watching matches, dinner or a just something different from town. There's also a nice smoking deck and it's right next to McDonalds...handy! read more >>
Great atmosphere & fantastic menu – especially if you like Mexican or their BBQ ribs are mouth-watering & worth trying – excellent sports venue if you want to catch a game or watch the golf – be sure to book in advance. read more >>
