average restaurant never really liked it to be honest due to the attitude of the staff. had great night out for friend birthday other than this meals were all slightly burnt when asked we were told we take what we get, which i thought personally was a bit rude read more >>
One word for you ... over-rated (i know its kindof two words but you know what i mean). Currans got a really good name for itself a few years ago, and has been living off that ever since. The truth is that in recent years the quality of the food and especially the quality of the service in the restaurant have worsened and the prices have gone up. From my experience i would give this one a miss. read more >>
Currans is a nice casual family restaurant with a reasonably priced varied menu to suit all tastes. Lovely relaxed atmosphere is probably its biggest selling point, efficient service and the food is consistently good. It probably wouldn't be my first choice for a very special meal but a lovely way to spend an evening all the same. read more >>
I really, really like Currans. It has a good menu and is really well priced. The food is delicious here and the vibe and service is great. Theres a nice roof top smoking garden, which is nice to sit out in and have some lunch in the summer. read more >>
Currans is a good reliable in Cork. They have something for everyone in here and it's a decent size restaurant so it can cater for large groups. They also have a terrace upstairs. Service is with a smile and food is really tasty. They also serve a good selection of drinks aswell. Nice and close to the Gate cinema if you're heading for such a night out! Only a small walk to the main centre of town for the good drinking spots. read more >>
Big fan of this place. Been here a few times over the years and have always been happy with the varied but simple menu. Service is prompt and I have never experienced any mistakes or disappointments. Last weekend we sat in the roof garden and it was really sunny - a bonus for any inner city restaurant . A lovely place with a great atmosphere. Watch out for the additional charm of some Cork history.... read more >>
