Only ever ate here once but I loved it. Plenty of interesting dishes anyway. I ate there during the day and found the atmosphere good. Found the prices reasonable too. Next time i'm in Galway I think might try eating here again read more >>
Simple decor (basic chairs and tables) but a massive selection of dishes and good prices and very large portions. could even share 1 main between two people. Located right in the middle of town.

I haven;t gone for a while as it's just too expensive Almost a tenner for spuds with a filling...To be fair it is nice but if two people go and have a drink/share starter its gets pricey...much better value around

This is how potatoes should be cooked! The food in here is delicious and always served piping hot which is a plus. Most meals consist of a baked potato and various topping, there is lots to chose from though and something for everyone. The restaurant was very comfortable and the prices were excellent. read more >>
Lovely cosy restaurant and a must visit for jacket potato lovers. I have been here several times and the standard of food has never changed. Great menu with lots to choose from. One of my favourites is the Sir Walter Raleigh. Its a potato with strips of chicken and a mushroom sauce. Yum!! Staff are friendly. Couldn't fault this place if i tried. read more >>

We went to Couch Potato for a friend's birthday and there were about eight of us. We really enjoyed the food we got, the portions were hugh and the prices were relatively low. Our main negativity in relation to the place was the attitude of its staff. We mostly took up the space on the night and yet the staff seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. read more >>
