The Clarion hotel at Dublin Airport is a great option for travellers who just want somewhere close to the airport if they are only stopping over in Ireland for a short period.
The rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. It's beside the airport so clearly not the most scenic setting but it's functional and pleasant. read more >>
It was nice - the food came out very quickly after we had placed our order - made me suspicious that it was been massed produced backstage. Very tasty though and excellent value for money
Not a bad place to stay, attractive on the outside and inside. However not all staff were as friendly as i expected. Had some trouble in the restaurant in regards to my partners dietry requirements that they could not service to. I must admit however, their sunday carvery is quite nice. Portion sizes are average, but the quality of the food is brilliant! One thing that annoyed me was i had to pay for a 10g portion of butter! read more >>
Not the most attractive facade of a hotel I've ever seen, but the interior has undergone a bit of a refit and looks alright. My flight out of Dublin was delayed and rather than sit in the weird atmosphere of the airport bars, with a collection of mental hens and stags I decided to stop off at the Clarion. They have a great beer garden, which seems worlds away from the airport. Worth a try if you're stuck for a couple of hours. Their heavily Asian influenced food is not bad either. read more >>
I love Kudos. An excellent choice i am a big fan of the combo platter although the portions aren’t exactly huge the food is immensely satisfying. Service is a bit inconsistent though. The Singapore noodles and duck rolls is GREAT, and they offer a nice selection of wines by the glass. The noodles were good. Would go back again, although the place wasn’t exactly buzzing. The service was fine. read more >>
