It was dingy and dark but not in the good way, is it too much to ask to open a curtain people! Overcrowded but there was a match on which leads to my next complaint - too many tvs, adequate food, nice staff though. Maybe it's partly my fault for going there when they were showing a match. read more >>
this is a fine place to go for lunch i went there every day for a week when on jury duty and i have to say the food was superb, there was usually about 20 there altogether and we never had to wait long for the food to arrive and when it did it was top class read more >>
Clancy's is as mentioned more for an older crowd the people . It's a good place for a party as we have hired out a section on occasion and they do platters and that. The music tends to be a mix of old songs and 80's , it's a really big pub and is good for a stop off on a pub crawl, but it's really more of an older crowd in there. read more >>
I used to work here and tends to be very busy on weekend's. There is generally an older crowd though and the music isn't really to my tastes with a bit of dodge 80's and cheesy stuff, but it definitely has an appeal for a certain crowd. The pints here are always good, and in terms of food there is an excellent carvery lunch with a soup and sandwiches counter as well. In the evenings there is a restaurant that specializes in Steak which i can definitely recommend. There is also a good range of other options if steak isn't your thing in a quirky menu. read more >>

Great spot for matches and some good food for lunch. Have not drank here by night but enjoyed my seafood medley vol au vent for lunch. We ate in the roof garden because it was a sunny day. Good spot for smokers. Very reasonably priced. read more >>
