This bar is very cool. The names of the cocktails here are pretty amusing but then thats half the fun I suppose. The decor is very trendy and the clientele and staff are lovely too. Its a good bar to go as a starter for a night out. read more >>
I went here during the Dublin City Pub Crawl, and I must admit it wasn't my favorite bar. I liked the bar's overall look, but the crowd wasn't for me. The cocktails were reasonable at €5, but the atmosphere was a little off. I don't have any intentions of going back, but I do have some friends I would recommend this to, as it may be more of their scene. read more >>
A pretty crap cocktail bar. They have nice couches and the place is done up pretty nicely. They have some good specials on cocktails for a fiver before 12 (they taste nice but not much booze) as described by other reviewers. The crowd was really annoying, lots of fake tan and d-bags. This place would be much better for an early drink or during the week as on a Friday or Saturday night it gets packed and pretty obnoxious (unless you like that sort of thing!) read more >>
People say it was good in the past. Since I moved to Ireland I can't stand staying there for more than 30 min. It's unbelievably crowded and the drinks taste like water and sugar (do never ask for a "caipirinha" there, it's lemon juice)
Also, the girly style does not appeal to me, teenagers on their high heels and those hundreds tuns of make up... ah.. not for me! read more >>
Holy crap. What's the story with this place? Capital...Crapital. Every time I think back for words to write about this place, something from another universe comes to mind. Check out this video I took on my phone while I was in there, it'll give you an idea of what it's like:

Dunno what to say to convey the nonsense.
The only thing worse than the dress sense of the crowd in there is their attitudes.
Went there recently on a Saturday night (my second, and last, visit), in fairness the place was jammers so it's obviously popular in certain cicles. Not for me. Girls looked they had been practicing their best grumpy face in the mirror for hours before they came out, bad bar service, rotten music and it was raining outside. Not sure if that last point is the fault of Capital but I'm blaming it anyway. I'm trying to be fair and think of someting positive to say, but honestly struggling. There's at least 5 bars within a minutes walk that are light years better than Capital so why bother. That's all read more >>
This place severely lacks in atmosphere. It does, however, have €5 cocktails before 12 (€10 after 12) and there are some tastey ones involving Red Bull. I also hear they’ve started putting actual alcohol in the cocktails before 12 now which is always handy! read more >>
Well known Cocktail Bar in Dublin ! Really nice cocktails not too expensive although as others have said the alcohol content is a bit questionable. Its a nice place but on a work night out recently I found the crowd wasn';t the best or the music. Its an ok venue read more >>
Nice place if you are only stopping for the one, not to be reccommended for a full night out as place is always understaffed and bouncers can be a bit heavy handed.

The capital bar has been full everytime I've been here which is always a good sign, but often can be a little too packed.
The service is grand but the atmosphere and the crowd haven't blown me away wouldn't be rushing back there that's for sure. Maybe more of a college age bar also. read more >>
Liked this place when I first came to Dub, good music, always busy and lots of cocktails. Have been there recently though on a work night out and found it really quiet and the crowd very young.

This place is perfect if you want to have a few cocktails before the nightclub. It is always jammed at the weekend and there is a great buzz about the place. Alcohol content is questionable alright in the cocktails but you can't expect them to be laced for a fiver. read more >>
This bar is only OK, always jammed on the weekends and the last time I went I actually left because I was waiting to be served for nearly 20 mins, the cocktails are just a mix of sugar an ice no wonder they're a fiver.

This place is jointed at weekends, but extremely quiet during the week. Sometimes this can be a good thing if your not on the tear, cause they have nice comfy couches upstairs. They have a cocktail menu which are only a fiver before 12, but when youre watching them being made youd have to wonder about the strength of them! read more >>
