Gave this 1 star because it is the lowest rating. Bought chips that were only half cooked and this shop refused to refund me and just were the worst people in the world to deal with. Will never in my life get food here again

Abrakebabra on O'Connell Street does not compare to other kebab shops I've been to. The kebabs are pre-packaged instead of personalized to a customer's order. I prefer to see the meat shaved off, grilled, and made upon my requests. The already made kebab was delicious none-the-less, but I wouldn't return to Abrakebabra for a second chance. read more >>

I loooovvveeee The Bagel Factory and this one on Baggot Street is as good as all the rest. That's the one good thing about eating at a chain, it's always the same...their Chicken Ceaar bagel is devine!

This place usually have good offers, however the place is not very clean or elegant.
I personally didn't like to see the manager talking to the employee aloud in front of us...
The kebabs are not bad actually.

Always love the Bagel Factory, and this branch is as tasty as the others! So they do kind of rip you off, €5 is a bit much, but it's the same in all of them. This place however can get very busy, and they only have a few seats, not really buggy friendly, and they have a minimum spend of €5/6 at lunch time if you want to sit down. read more >>

This place has now changed and includes Obrien's sandwiches, so you have the choice of two in the same building! Love the bagels here, especially one with chicken, lettuce, sweet peppers and sweet chilli sauce, or if youre looking for something sweet, a plain bagel with mountains of nutella! yum yum with a cup of tea! read more >>

Have been to all of the GBK in town and they are all very similar though I do find the service best in the South Anne St one.Visited this restaurant a while ago and found the food very good. Unfortunately they had just stopped doing their €5 burger deal so it is not as good value. The goats cheese and lentil burgers were very nice though I would like the lentil one to have a stronger flavour. The burgers are not served very hot though. The chilli dip is yummy. It is great that they have 4 veggie burger options so you try a different one each time. They are all nice.Their chunky chips are quite disappointing and a bit dry. It is good that you can order a smaller version of some of their burgers also as they are huge. There is a nice seating area outside on the square which is nice in the summer. Will return again when they have good deals on. The toilets were fine. read more >>

I suppose its like every other Abra. I personally prefer it to McDonalds which is right next door. Doner kebab would be my meal of choice. Everyone seems to go here after a night out on the town and it gets really busy ,noisy, messy etc... but I suppose at that stage you're too far gone to care about anything other than getting some food! read more >>

Great drunk food but during the day the staff seem quite dull and depressed, the prices are good and the portions are decent. They usually have pretty awesome meal deals witch are reasonable prices. A few of my mates have gotten sick after eating there but i haven't had any first hand experience of this. read more >>

everyone knows what these places are like. great for a drunken kebab and taco fries after a night out. Can be very pricey but food is nice and reasonable portions. They could do with increasing the size of there soda though.

After a night out this is where I go! My little obsession with taco chips and this is the best place in waterford to get them, there just that little bit better than lombards in my opinion. The staff are quiet but nice and the prices are good :) read more >>

Extremely busy after a night out in town. They have the nicest kebabs i've ever tasted. The interior has been refurbished recently and looks a lot better than it ever has. They also do a sweet chili fries and sweet chili beef wrap which are to die for. Not too expensive either, but can get pretty messy late at night. read more >>

The restaurant itself is SO dingy. Its just needs to be gutted and started over. Its not very clean at all and everything is falling apart. Quite gross really!

Nice place, as bagel places go. It's nice that they have a decent choice of bagels. They're not stingy with toppings and they make what you ask for. It would be nicer if there were more seating or if it were a little more spread out as it's quite cluttered. I find it expensive enough though! read more >>

I tried this abra once and never again. Myself and 2 friends decided to go in here for our tea, every single thing we ordered was burnt and uneadble, 2 of us got doner kebabs which was full of burnt meat and my other friend got a chicken wrap when she picked it up everthing fell out and her chicken was also burnt. when we said it too the staff the found it hard to understand us when we asked for a manager or irish worker the said there was none. in the end we got out money back and went to a lovely little kebab shop accross the street. read more >>

The Kiwiburger in here is truly epic. They somehow manage to squeeze a beef patty, beetroot, egg, pineapple, cheese, salad, mayonnaise & relish between two buns. As well as this, their onion rings are some of the best I have ever had. May seem pricey, but if you just go for a burger you can't really complain. Also, they have all sorts of special offers at various times during the year. read more >>

I really liked this place. I got the Habanero burger, and my friend got the cajun burger. We went halfsies so I was able to try both. The habanero wasn't too spicy at all, and the cajun was so tasty and full of flavor. The cajun one was messy, but extra yum. They were having a special, buy a high rise burger and get your fries for free. Another friend had the lamb burger and said it was good too. There was more than enough food for everyone and with the speical it wasn't too bad on my wallet either. It was hard to decide on what burger to get, so I guess I'll have to go back to try another. read more >>

Not a fan, the veggie burgers are horrible - way too much mayo and nothing to even out the flavour. Basically you're eating mayo with the texture of a veggie burger! The chips are okay, if you're for some reason craving chips, but otherwise I don't like Abrakebabra. I guess now I can see why so many people enjoy going here when they're drunk, but when you're sober it's certainly not a place to get food from. read more >>

Horrible place here. Most times after a night out in town this place is jammed packed and I don't really see why. Very expensive in here for food that is at best average. Most of the menu isn't available after like 6 or 7 o clock and it can be pretty rough inside read more >>

I like the food from here, but i find the staff weird which puts me off the place for months when i go in. Dont order a toasted wrap from here because you will be waiting 10 minutes on the bloody thing and when you get it, its tiny! The Bagels are quite nice though, but seriously €5 for a bagel with 3 fillings, total rip off! read more >>

You can't really complain about Abrakebabra. Their food is pretty much standard right across the country. They do indeed offer a variety of tasty bites to eat and it is most definitely the place to go after a good night out. Wouldn't really consider going in here sober though! have to say thought it was very expensive for what was on offer. There are enough decent burger joints in this city that provide similar fare for cheaper prices (eddie rockets springs to mind) nice location in temple bar, but that is hardly enough to recommend it. Decent chips though and a good selection of burgers read more >>

I am a huge fan of Sushi but I really felt that the portions in this branch of the chain were tiny.
I was also abit peeved that I had to pay €1 for tap water that tasted as if it was sitting in a tank since last year.
Be careful if you go here and are hungry as you will get carried away and stung with a huge bill! read more >>

The conveyor belt goes round and round when you are on the escalator from the floors above. The sushi is on different coloured plates so you can pay 3 to 10 euro. Its a fantastic idea as you can eat what you like. They are always well stocked and the sushi is so fresh. Lunchtime is a little buzzy so better to hold off until after 2.00 and watch the world go by. read more >>

I used to be a big fan of this place but a recent visit has disheartened me a bit. Despite the recession the prices certainly have kept rising a bit all the time. Also I find that Abra-K's vary in quality from branch to branch to a surprising degree. Last time time there i went for my old fav, Chicken Baguette no Mayo. The baguette was definitely not as full as I remember and the spicy sauce didn't even make my eyes water a bit, disappointing. read more >>
