Gave this 1 star because it is the lowest rating. Bought chips that were only half cooked and this shop refused to refund me and just were the worst people in the world to deal with. Will never in my life get food here again

Couldnt possibly hate the food any more than I do right now. Worst I have ever had. It was all soggy and reheated. Just not for me, a local fast food place of McDonalds, KFC, Burger King are all much better. Ugh :(

Always love the Bagel Factory, and this branch is as tasty as the others! So they do kind of rip you off, €5 is a bit much, but it's the same in all of them. This place however can get very busy, and they only have a few seats, not really buggy friendly, and they have a minimum spend of €5/6 at lunch time if you want to sit down. read more >>

great take away and uniquely you can enjoy their food seems to be much nicer than the usual mcdonalds or burger king. Food seems much fresher and more filling especially love their burgers have lots of dressing and sauces in them which is great chips are good although known for their toppings so curry, cheese and garlic or taco fries which ever you fancy you should order. read more >>

Ah really what is there to say about abrakebabra? I love the food I have to admit, taco fries are my guilty pleasure. But this shop is in such a horrible state and don't start me on the staff. Definitely not the cleanest of places. Once had to use the loo and I swore never again after that! The clientele here isn't great either but I recommend running in for taco fries and eating them somewhere else! read more >>

Abrakebabra is closed down quite a while now but to get an idea of its history all I can say it wasn't exactly a great eat in place. The food there was nice but the staff were a bit clueless. It was good I suppose but would not give it the 5 star treatment. It was good to have it there. read more >>

Have been to all of the GBK in town and they are all very similar though I do find the service best in the South Anne St one.Visited this restaurant a while ago and found the food very good. Unfortunately they had just stopped doing their €5 burger deal so it is not as good value. The goats cheese and lentil burgers were very nice though I would like the lentil one to have a stronger flavour. The burgers are not served very hot though. The chilli dip is yummy. It is great that they have 4 veggie burger options so you try a different one each time. They are all nice.Their chunky chips are quite disappointing and a bit dry. It is good that you can order a smaller version of some of their burgers also as they are huge. There is a nice seating area outside on the square which is nice in the summer. Will return again when they have good deals on. The toilets were fine. read more >>

this abrakebra could really do with a bit of modernisation, it is a bit dull and tatty.
there always just seems to be one staff member on during the day so i wouldnt advise going there at peak times, ie: lunch,if you are in a hurry.

abrakebabra is quite disgusting , their prices are just ridiculous for the poor poor quality that you're guaranteed to receive here ,its actually cheeky that they think they can charge that much for the terrible food they serve ! they rely greatly on the drunk crowds that are hungry after a night out and who dont know what theyre eating really , however i have enjoyed a mexican chip from here and it wasnt too bad , bread rolls are always absolutely unedible and horrible , yuk ! i wouldnt reccommend this place to anybody , unless theyre looking for overpriced garbage ! thumbs down ! read more >>

The habanero wasn't too spicy at all, and the cajun was so tasty and full of flavor. The cajun one was messy, but extra yum. They were having a special, buy a high rise burger and get your fries for free. Another friend had the lamb burger and said it was good too. There was more than enough food for everyone and with the speical it wasn't too bad on my wallet either. Not a fan, the veggie burgers are horrible - way too much mayo and nothing to even out the flavour. Basically you're eating mayo with the texture of a veggie burger! The chips are okay, if you're for some reason craving chips, but otherwise I don't like Abrakebabra. I guess now I can see why so many people enjoy going here when they're drunk, but when you're sober it's certainly not a place to get food from. read more >>

Abrakebabra on O'Connell Street does not compare to other kebab shops I've been to. The kebabs are pre-packaged instead of personalized to a customer's order. Nice place to get a quick bite when your in around town shopping with the wife. Only problem with it is that because it isn't located right in the very centre of the city ( not that its located too far away just about a 5 min walk up a side street into a different section in town), but very well priced offer a nice selection and you can pick a preset bagel or create your own so you get exactly what you want. read more >>

This is quite a cool place to get your sushi. All the dishes go around on a conveyor belt and are electronically scanned so when you pick your dish it just gets billed to your table. It can however be very tempting to keep taking dishes as they keep coming around. read more >>

It's perfectly on a par with all other fast food outlets.
Prices and menu are the same as Abrakababra nationwide.
Service here is fast enough, I've never been kept waiting too long.
Toilet facilities in the back.
Two tv monitors showing music videos to entertain you while you chow down~
There's also a juke box so you can pick out a couple of favs and play them for a small price ;-) read more >>

I wouldn't be a regular but occasionally go here for a donor kebab. It's not fancy but it does what's expected of it, a selection of fast food at reasonable prices. Now I have a longing for a donor kebab.

Ah yes, the food I love to hate to love. Found myself falling in here one night a weekend for about a month after a feed of pints for a feed of food, generally any kebab served up with taco fries, which if I had to I could live off. Soon found myself weighing a stone heavier than normal, had to stop going back. Taco fries are like food heroin, too addictive and no way can it be good for you. read more >>

New fan of Abrakebebra here, I'm loving the new mexican menu as advertised by Jedward! I love Jedward too but that's a separate review! For people who like the Taco fries there are now Taco nachos which come in 2 sizes, small or large depending on how hungry you are or if you are sharing or not. My favourite is the quesadilla which is served in a pizza box. There are also burritos and fajitas. This new Mexican menu seems to be attracting lots of daytime customers as well as the late night kebab fans so all good for Abrakebabra. read more >>

I like the food from here, but i find the staff weird which puts me off the place for months when i go in. Dont order a toasted wrap from here because you will be waiting 10 minutes on the bloody thing and when you get it, its tiny! The Bagels are quite nice though, but seriously €5 for a bagel with 3 fillings, total rip off! read more >>

Prefer Leo's across the road. Any place you can sit down around here you seem to find a drunk sitting behind you or in front of you. Dont like it and would love the staff to be more inclinded to kick these people out rather than allow them sit there and rest there heads on the table read more >>

You can't really complain about Abrakebabra. Their food is pretty much standard right across the country. They do indeed offer a variety of tasty bites to eat and it is most definitely the place to go after a good night out. Wouldn't really consider going in here sober though! McDonald's any day please! read more >>

It is not easy running a fast-food place that is close to McDonald's and Leo Burdock's, but this place is still here. They specialise in kebabs, try two of them.

Of all the Abrakebabra's in Harcourt street, this is right up there with the best. What is better than a donor kebab from Abrakebabra? Two kebabs. That hits the spot. This one is in a great location. Just off the Luas line. read more >>

They say if you have a kebab after a night out, you're taking your life into your own hands. Well in this place that danger is in the form of the clientele. The food's great. What is better than a donor kebab from Abrakebabra? Two kebabs. read more >>

I love Abrakakebra, a lot. What is better than a donor kebab from Abrakebabra? Two kebabs. That hits the spot. This one is in a great location. Lower Baggot street is crammed with fast food places, Burger King and Chinese and Italian takeaway's, but Abra's are the best place. read more >>

Just reading the other reviews and I think everyone is in agreement that the best thing you can have here are the Taco Fries. I mean what better way is there to round off a nice boozy night! When I leave the club I head straight to Abra..it's the best soakage :-) . I have tried the taco fries during the day before, sober of course...and well what can I say..I was left feeling kind of sick. I think this is the type of place you can only head to when your taste and smell might be slightly impaired. read more >>
